PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Next week, all four classes will be embarking on exciting trips. The seniors will head to Orlando for their senior trip, while the juniors will explore New England on the annual history tour, visiting Williamsburg, Washington D.C., New York City, Philadelphia, and Boston. The sophomores will join our sister school, TCA, on a biology trip to Kentucky, where they'll experience the Ark Encounter, Cincinnati Zoo, and Newport Aquarium. Meanwhile, the freshmen will travel to Nosoca for a team-building activity designed to help the new class bond. Upon their return to MPA on Wednesday, the freshmen and sophomores will participate in a two-day emergency response training. I wanted to share these details to highlight the rich opportunities we provide at MPA to enhance both academic learning and personal growth.
Last week, we also completed our Fall MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) testing. Classes earned points for each student who demonstrated academic progress. These assessments are vital for helping teachers understand students’ current academic standing and track their growth. Teachers will now analyze the data to identify areas for further development.
Both of these initiatives align closely with our mission of pursuing academic excellence while creating lasting memories. We remain committed to preparing our students for success in this world and the one to come.
Thank you for your continued prayers and support.

SENIOR SURVIVAL: BUILDING BONDS TOGETHER
The senior class of Mount Pisgah Academy recently spent a few days at Southern Adventist University for their highly anticipated Senior Survival trip. This adventure allowed students to grow closer and build trust as they participated in a range of outdoor activities designed to challenge both their minds and bodies.
Throughout the trip, students engaged in exciting challenges such as caving, ziplining, and navigating rope courses. These activities pushed them to their limits, both physically and mentally, while fostering teamwork and cooperation. Encouraging one another through each obstacle, the seniors strengthened their bonds and created lasting memories together.
Trust-building games played a key role in bringing the group even closer. Students took part in activities like trust falls, the "leap of faith," and balancing games, all of which required them to rely on their classmates for support. These exercises helped deepen their connections, creating a stronger sense of unity that will carry them through their final year at Mount Pisgah Academy.
One of the most memorable experiences came during a peaceful evening canoeing on the lake to watch the bats emerge at dusk. This serene moment allowed the class to connect with nature and reflect on their time together. Additionally, a fun day spent on the lake offered the students a chance to relax and enjoy the outdoors in a more laid-back setting, further deepening their connections.
Overall, the Senior Survival trip provided a valuable opportunity for the senior class to step away from their regular school routines and focus on developing stronger relationships. As they return to campus, they do so with a renewed sense of unity and trust, ready to tackle their final year together with the support of their classmates and the memories they created during this unforgettable experience.

STUDENTS HELP BRING MESSIAH'S MANSION TO LIFE
Recently, Mount Pisgah Academy students had the unique opportunity to be a part of the Messiah’s Mansion experience—a life-size replica of the ancient Israelite sanctuary. Several students volunteered to help assemble the structure, working behind the scenes to set up the intricate display that would soon be open for visitors. This hands-on experience gave them a deeper appreciation for the history and significance of the sanctuary as they worked together to bring the exhibit to life.
Once the sanctuary was fully assembled, the entire student body could tour the display. Walking through the replica of the Israelite sanctuary, students learned about the various practices and ceremonies that took place in this sacred space. The tour guides explained the symbolism behind each part of the sanctuary, from the Altar of Sacrifice to the Ark of the Covenant, offering students a better understanding of Biblical history and how it relates to their faith.
This immersive experience was a powerful way for students to engage with their learning outside the classroom. By both helping to build and experience Messiah’s Mansion, students were able to connect with history in a hands-on way that deepened their knowledge.
We are thankful for opportunities like this that allow our students to expand their learning in practical, meaningful ways. It’s not every day that they get to be a part of something so special, and the lessons they learned from Messiah’s Mansion will stay with them long after the exhibit is gone— special thanks to Erwin Hills SDA Church for sponsoring this event.
