COLLEGE CREDITS

Mount Pisgah Academy enables students to earn multiple college credits in various ways at a fraction of the cost of taking them on a college campus (see VP Finance for financial information). Students who take advantage of these dual credit classes have graduated a early from their university.

1.  WAU Extension course: College class taught by Mount Pisgah Academy faculty with Washington Adventist University college credit (college transcripts must be requested through WAU):      
       

   ENGL-101: First Year Composition       3 credit hours

   ENGL-102: Research & Literature         3 credit hours

   HIST-275: US History I                              3 credit hours

   HIST-276: US History II                             3 credit hours
   PSYC-105: General Psychology             3 credit hours
   RELB-160: Jesus and the Gospels         3 credit hours

2.  SAU Extension course: College class taught by Mount Pisgah Academy faculty with Southern Adventist University college credit (college transcripts must be requested through SAU):      
       
   Survey of Economics                                3 credit hours

4. Other college classes may be taken online directly through SAU and Andrews University. To receive dual credit for courses taken off campus, approval must be given by the Academic Standards Committee (ASC).

5. Other online classes are available through AB Technical College with free tuition through the Career College Promise program. To receive dual credit for courses taken off campus, approval must be given by the Academic Standards Committee (ASC).
