Some required classes may be taken any year but should be included as early as possible. These include Computer Literacy and Fine Arts.

Math Requirements:
* If Freshmen have high school credit Algebra I, they may take Geometry.
** Sophomores should take their second math class, as three maths are required for graduation. This could be Geometry, Algebra I, II, or Intermediate Algebra.
*** Juniors should take their third math class. This could be Algebra II or Geometry or Intermediate Algebra.
****Seniors should take their fourth math class. This could be Consumer Math or Precalculus.

Students who plan to apply to a public university in North Carolina must have one additional math beyond Algebra II.
