If you're looking for a Christ-centered boarding high school that celebrates the unique gifts of each student, you've come to the right place. MPA provides amazing teachers, engaging classes, and excellent academics while instilling the life skills and independence necessary to be successful in secondary education and beyond. A wide range of programs make it easy for students to explore their talents and create lasting friendships. 

 

Mount Pisgah Academy welcomes high school students from North and South Carolina, across the United States, and around the world. Whether students choose to live on campus or commute, everyone has the opportunity to pursue their interests from sports and music to service projects and more. 

 

We are accepting applications for the 2022-23 school year and will consider new applicants until classes are full.

How to Apply

The following forms and information are required for the application process to be completed. All forms should be mailed, emailed, faxed, or sent electronically to the Registrar.

 

To be sent/arranged right away:

  • Application completed (APPLY ONLINE) requires a $25 application fee

  • Reference forms from pastor or equivalent and two teachers

  • Unofficial transcripts to be sent to registrar (shane.bedwell@pisgah.us)

  • Financial arrangements made with the treasurer (kevin.worth@pisgah.us)

  • International students must complete the application process, be accepted as a student for the upcoming school year, and submit a $1,000 non-refundable tuition payment before an I-20 will be issued.

 

To be sent before August 1:

  • Transcript from previous school(s) sent to MPA Registrar. (Grade placement cannot be assured until this is received. Seniors will not be allowed to have senior privileges, including class trip, without records.)

  • Work request form

To be sent or brought no later than registration:

  • Registration staff must see original and make a copy of Social Security Card (must have to work and be paid)

  • Copy of Birth Certificate or passport

  • Consent for Treatment form (medical personnel will not treat a minor without this)

  • Immunization record (student may not legally remain in school without this)

  • Health Examination form

  • Copy of health insurance card and pharmacy/prescriptions card

 

Late Registration

Students who register more than three weeks late without transfer grades will be admitted only at the discretion of the Academic Standards Committee. Full tuition will be charged for all students registering late.
 

Admittance Policy:

Mount Pisgah Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. Mount Pisgah Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school administered programs.

 

Any high-school age student is welcome if he/she is of good moral character, both expresses and demonstrates a sincere desire for a Christian education, and pledges to live by the standards of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Mount Pisgah Academy is not equipped to handle young people who have major behavioral or scholastic challenges.
