LOOKING FOR MORE THAN A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA?
At Mount Pisgah Academy, the educational journey extends beyond the classroom. Our holistic approach focuses on the
whole health of the student – physical, intellectual, spiritual, and social – enabling everyone to achieve their personal best.
We're a culturally diverse Seventh-day Adventist School that welcomes students of all faiths.
A Christ-centered environment sets the stage for a positive experience at MPA. Students enjoy a close community,
engaging classes, caring teachers, and innovative programming surrounded by the breathtaking Southern Appalachians.
Most of our students live on campus, but some choose to commute. Either way, our graduates leave MPA
ready for college with solid life skills, newfound independence, a heart for service, and lasting friendships.
Welcome to Mount Pisgah Academy. We promise a high school experience you'll never forget!
Worship is a critical part of our curriculum, allowing students to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. While attending our school, students understand God's love more deeply through spiritual programming, Bible classes, nightly worships, and more.
In promoting the development of body, mind, and spirit, students love God and others, expressed through service. Weekly community service, along with yearly mission trips, instills a spirit of service in our students. Opportunities to serve peers also present themselves on a daily basis.
Students have the opportunity to work on campus to assist with paying off their school bills. This provides an excellent experience for students to develop a strong work ethic. Many students take advantage of this option, working for the cafeteria, maintenance, dorms, and teachers.
Through our various varsity teams and intramural program, our students receive a balanced education where physical education is promoted. We strongly believe that providing athletic programming will help aid our students in their journeys with Jesus.
By emphasizing fine arts opportunities our students develop talents they can use to praise God in a variety of ways. These programs include Choir, Hand Bells, Concert Symphony Orchestra, and Yearbook.
By utilizing laptops, instead of hardback textbooks, our students receive a technology-driven educational experience. Additionally, our new STEM program provides opportunities for our students to learn about robots, coding, 3-D printing, and more.

A Place for Spiritual Growth
"My wife and I sent both of our children to Mount Pisgah Academy. While we had concerns about our children being away from home, we felt God leading us to MPA. And, although raising teenagers comes with its challenges, we are glad they had the experience of Christian education at MPA. A place where they could grow academically, socially, but most importantly spiritually. Many relationships our children and we created there with students and faculty will be cherished for a lifetime. We have always felt that the faculty at Mt. Pisgah are diligently seeking to help our children grow in Christ and had their best interests in mind."

WHAT'S HAPPENING AT MPA
MUSIC FESTIVAL - MARCH 2-3
Musicians in grades 5-12 converge on our campus to practice and worship together, all culminating in an evening performance on Friday night. The various disciplines for this event include handbells, choir, string, and band. In 2019, nearly 300 young people joined us for this worshipful experience.
ALUMNI WEEKEND - APRIL 14-15
This is a time where alumni join us on our campus to reminisce about good memories from their time as students at Mount Pisgah Academy. Alumni are invited home to enjoy programs led by their former classmates. The weekend begins with the Anderson Golf Classic and will honor classes ending in 2 & 7.
ACADEMY DAYS - APRIL 28-30
This is a time when potential students come to visit our campus and meet our students. There are opportunities for scholarship auditions/tryouts, viewing organizational performances, meeting new friends, and so much more! Students who come to this event stay in the dorm and enjoy meals in our cafeteria.
