Mount Pisgah Academy
Mount Pisgah Academy is a Seventh-day Adventist boarding school for grades 9-12, located in Candler, North Carolina, about eight miles west of Asheville, North Carolina. (click here for directions) Mount Pisgah Academy is part of the world-wide Seventh-day Adventist school system of almost 6,000 schools, over 1,000 of which are secondary schools. The school is fully accredited by the National Council for Private Schools and by the Accrediting Association of Seventh-day Adventists Schools, Colleges and Universities.
The campus includes 230 acres of lawns, trees, flowers, and hills, with an indescribable view of the Southern Appalachians and the 5,721 foot peak of Mount Pisgah for which the school is named. To meet the educational and spiritual needs of the students, an administration building, cafeteria and music building, gymnasium, church, dormitories, and an industrial complex have been constructed. The school master plan calls for additional new and remodeled facilities to meet expanding needs.
