RAGS TO RICHES: A TRANSFORMATIONAL WEEK OF PRAYER

Mount Pisgah Academy students recently experienced a powerful and uplifting Week of Prayer with alumnus Steven Sigamani (’11) as the featured speaker. With the theme “Rags to Riches,” Steven guided students through a faith journey, reminding them of God’s power to transform lives.
Each evening, students gathered in the church sanctuary for worship and reflection, opening the service with student-led praise music that set the tone for an inspiring message. Steven’s dynamic storytelling and Biblical insights resonated with students, encouraging them to trust God with their struggles and embrace His greater purpose for their lives.
Beyond the nightly worship services, spiritual growth remains a priority at Mount Pisgah Academy. From daily dorm worships to small group Bible studies, students are given opportunities to develop a personal relationship with Christ. Our dedicated faculty and staff mentor students on their faith journey, and student leadership in worship is actively encouraged through music, testimonies, and involvement in church services.

Events like Week of Prayer remind us that our campus is more than a school—it’s a spiritual family where students grow in faith, build lifelong friendships, and experience God’s love in tangible ways.
We are grateful to Steven Sigamani for sharing his time and heart with us. His message of hope and transformation will continue to inspire our students as they walk their own faith journeys.
WINTERFEST 2025: A DAY OF ADVENTURE AND FUN

Mount Pisgah Academy students recently took a break from their studies to enjoy Winterfest 2025, a much-anticipated day filled with adventure, laughter, and unforgettable memories. With a variety of activities to choose from, students had the chance to experience winter fun in their own way. For those who love the thrill of the slopes, Cataloochee Ski Area was the perfect destination.
Students spent the day skiing and snowboarding, enjoying the crisp mountain air and fresh snow. Whether seasoned boarders or first-time skiers, everyone had a blast tackling the runs and helping each other learn new skills.
Meanwhile, another group of students traveled to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, where they explored the charming mountain town. They strolled through local shops, sampled delicious treats, and took in the charm of this popular tourist destination. It was a relaxing and fun-filled day of sightseeing, shopping, and spending time with friends.

Other students opted for a more classic winter experience - gliding across the ice at a skating rink. Laughter echoed through the arena as students tested their balance, helped each other up, and enjoyed the simple joy of skating.
Winterfest is more than just a day off from school—it’s an opportunity for students to bond, try new experiences, and make lasting memories. Events like these are a key part of student life at Mount Pisgah Academy, fostering friendships and encouraging students to embrace adventure.
As the sun set on another amazing Winterfest, students returned to campus with stories to share and hearts full of gratitude for the time spent together. We can’t wait for next year’s winter adventure!
