THE IMPOSSIBLE FALL
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right Hand.” Isaiah 41:10
One day, as my grandma and I were sitting together, she began telling me the story of how an angel saved her life. While my grandma was painting the guest room upstairs in her house, she began climbing up the ladder, which was pretty high up for someone like herself. The thing is, she had just been released from back surgery and the doctors advised her to rest and take it easy. But knowing my grandma, she still continues to work, fix, and cook no matter the circumstances. As my grandma climbed the ladder and painted the walls, she was standing at an angle where behind her was the brick face-wall, and in front of her was the wooden bed frame. This meant that if she fell, she could possibly die or be heavily injured. As she finished with the walls , she tried to climb down and fell. As she fell towards the stone-face wall, she felt a push from the side of her body and she fell to the ground, avoiding the stone wall and the wooden bed frame. To me this is a blessing from God. Just imagine falling and getting pushed to the side to avoid contact with death. There is no logical explanation to how she fell directly backwards and ended up on the side of the room, nowhere near where she was falling and only ended up with a bruise. I do not know what would have happened to her that day, had God not been there to save her. That is why we need to have a strong faith in God and never stop believing in Him. God can do miraculous things, like saving an impossible fall.
