THE DOOR IS ALWAYS OPEN
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6
I went to Silver Creek Adventist School for elementary school. One year there was this boy that attended my school. He was always depressed and sad. So, I decided to talk to him. I started to get to know him and we became best friends. One day we started talking about God and he told me that he did not believe in God. I told him how much God has done in my life and that God loves him no matter what he does. We continued to become closer friends, so I decided to asked him to go to church with my family and he did. I kept witnessing to him and allowing God to use me. In the middle of the school year, he got kicked out of the school because he had anger issues. I continued texting him and told him that I missed him and that I would be there for him. One day I got a text from him telling me that he was getting baptized. He also told me that I was one of the people that witnessed to him and brought him closer to God. I thanked God for helping me show him Jesus’ love. My family went to his baptism and he gave me a big hug afterwards. I felt a peace fall over me. I knew that God had used me to witness to him. God could have used anyone but He chose me. My friend is still in the church today. I saw him when I went on tour with the choir from MPA recently. God has a plan for everyone if you just give Him a chance to work. God gave me an open door and I took it. There is always an open door if you let God in your heart and you let Him use you.
