HEALING EYES

“The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light." Matthew 6:22

I was in a deep sleep when suddenly my alarm went off, early in the morning. I needed to get up, but did not want to. I eventually got up and walked toward the shower. I was done with everything except brushing my hair. When I walked to the bathroom, I saw my mom, who had two bad eyes. The right eye was almost fully closed and the other was very red. She said she thought that she had pink eye. When I got to school, everything seemed normal again. Then when I got a call from my mother and I knew it was not good news. She told me that she had gone to the doctor. The doctor had told her she had two eye infections. I did not want her to do anything, but she had to work. So everyday, I prayed for her. I prayed to God asking if He could please heal her. Only a couple days had passed and I woke up again and did not really see my mother that morning because I was rushing to get ready in time. When I got home that day, I noticed that my mom looked as though nothing happened. She acted normal and looked great. I thanked God for the healing He gave my mom. God can do anything if you ask for it, and He knows that it is the right thing. He loves you and does not want anything bad to happen to you.
