GOD'S GOT US

The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Deuteronomy 31:8

In Bible class this year we have talked a lot about Revelation and the end times. There are many signs that have to occur before Jesus’ second coming including wars, famines, and false prophets to name a few. Some of these have already happened and some are still happening. All in all, times are going to get really rough, especially for God’s people. Many situations we are going to be put in will test our faith and push us to the limits. The need to remain strong in our faith and not be afraid as these things start occurring more and more is crucial. Things are going to be difficult, life will become more stressful and Satan will continue to discourage us. There will be points in our lives where we will feel like we are all alone, but that is just not the case. We can be comforted by the verse Deuteronomy 31:8 because God tells us that He will never leave us. He says we do not have to be afraid or discouraged. Yes we might be dragged down to the point where we feel we cannot take it anymore, but God is there to pick us up and give us the encouragement and strength that we need to persevere. No matter what trials or persecution we may have to endure, we must always keep God first in our lives and ask Him to help us when we are struggling to keep going. Jesus is coming soon and we need to be prepared for what is to come so that we can go to Heaven and live with Him for eternity. So do not fear the future or be dismayed, for the Lord is with us always and can help us through whatever challenges we may face until the end of time.
