GOD ANSWERS PRAYER

I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing can be taken from it. God does it so that people will fear Him. Ecclesiastes 3:14

I am a freshman at Mount Pisgah Academy (MPA) this year. MPA has been one of the best things to ever happen to me. Apart from me wanting to come here, I think God placed me here for a reason. It was almost certain I was going to attend a public school in Charlotte, where I live. It was even worse for me considering I did not go to Academy Days where they give out scholarships. Last summer, I received an email from Mr. Worth who works with finances at MPA. The email was asking me which things I had wanted to tryout for at Academy Days. I replied to the email and stated the things I had thought about doing. A couple of weeks later I received a letter in the mail from Mr. Worth. In it was a scholarship for each organization I had wanted to tryout for during Academy Days. I was overjoyed at the sight of the scholarships I had received. Even though I had received money from MPA, my parents still were not sure if they would be able to send me and my sister this year. God came through, and made it possible for me to go to MPA. I am happy with my decision to come to MPA. This year I have met so many new people and made so many new friends. I love my classes, and the staff, and I truly believe God has a plan for me here. I plan to go here for the remaining three years that I have left in high school, and I will do so with a smile on my face. I love this campus and I believe that God lives at MPA. He has a purpose for everything in your life even if you do not realize it in the moment. I believe that I am here for a reason and I hope to fulfill the plans He has for me. I truly believe God answers every prayer and will continue to until the day when He comes back to take us home with Him.
