ANGEL AT THE POOL
For it is written, “He will command His angels concerning you to guard you carefully.” Luke 4:10
When I was about 10 years old, my family and I lived in San Antonio, Texas. We lived in an apartment complex near Fort Sam. One day, my family decided to go for a swim at the complex pool. While we were getting ready by the edge of the pool my sister, who was seven at the time, decided to jump in. But she jumped in the wrong side of the pool, the deep-end. She started panicking and trying to stay afloat. Quickly, an apartment worker jumped in and grabbed her and took her out of the pool. My mom thanked the man and then he left. The next day we decided to find the man and thank him. We walked to the pool and all around the apartment complex but he was nowhere to be seen. After a couple of weeks he was still nowhere to be found. We never saw him before or after that incident. I believe it was an angel. All the time, I would hear, “God sends angels to protect and watch over us,” but never really understood it. It is something I could not see, so I would not really think about it. God sends angels to constantly watch over us even though we do not see them. Sometimes, God lets us see miracles to remind us that He is constantly looking over us.
