Technology

Keyboarding
This is a beginner course in basic typing and keyboarding skills which emphasizes both speed and accuracy.
Computer Literacy
This is an introductory course for using computers in today’s highly computer-dependent world. Topics include: the history of computers, Windows, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, telecommunications, and personal finance. Windows 95/98 and up-to-date software and hardware are used.
Life Skills
Every student participates for one semester each year in one of the mini-vocational classes offered. These vary from semester to semester, but have included the following: Art, Child Care, Computer Graphics, Construction, Cooking, Fabric Painting, First Aid/CPR, Home/Car Maintenance, Master Guide/Pathfinders, Mechanical Engineering, Personal Finance, Photography, Principles of Accounting, Rock Climbing, Sign Language, Sewing, and Witnessing classes.
